How to Keep Going When Life Feels Unfair

There are moments in life when everything seems unfair. You work hard, do the right thing, and yet, life still knocks you down. I know what it’s like. When I lost everything and I was walking into a federal prison, I couldn’t help but ask, *Why me, God? * It seemed like the ultimate injustice.
But here’s what I’ve learned: **Life may not always be fair, but God is always faithful.** And that’s what kept me going.
How to Keep Moving Forward When Life Feels Unfair:
- Accept What You Can’t Change
Some things are outside of your control. Fighting against them only wears you out. Instead, think about what you CAN change—your mindset, your faith, and your next step.
- Stop Asking, “Why Me?” and Start Asking “What’s Next?
I asked God *why* for months—until I realized that the answer didn’t matter as much as *what I did next. Transfer your focus from the problem to the solution.
- Hold On to Faith (Even When It’s Hard)
God didn’t say life would be easy, but He did promise **He would never leave you. Keep trusting Him, even when you don’t know why.
- Find Strength in the Small Wins
Some days, just getting out of bed is a victory. **Celebrate the small steps forward, because they lead to bigger breakthroughs.
- Keep Walking—Even If It’s One Step at a Time
You might not yet notice the way out, but hold on The breakthrough will always come after the struggle.
Regardless of how much life appears to be unjust now, don’t give up. You are stronger than you think, and with God as your all, you will triumph.
